Support your nervous system steadiness, breath regulation and sleep quality

4-Week Somatic Sleep Experience & Education
Ongoing stress, hormonal change, and high cognitive demand can lead to a nervous system that stays alert well past the point of usefulness, showing up as night waking, shallow breathing, muscle tension, and exhaustion that never quite resolves into rest.
Somatic education supports rebuilding the signals between body and brain, restoring circadian steadiness, and developing reliable self-regulation skills you can use at 3 am.

-
How the nervous system responds to stress, safety, and sleep pressure
-
Why night waking happens and what your body is signalling between 2 am and 4 am
-
Breath re-education and regulation tools for falling asleep and returning to sleep
-
The relationship between hormones, stress physiology, and circadian rhythm
-
Restorative practices, integration, and sustainable daily habits
Weekly
Structure
Week 1: Orientation, Safety, and Sleep Awareness
Introduction to the nervous system in accessible language, with a focus on safety, orientation, and grounding. Learn how stress responses show up in daily life and how the previous night shapes the following day. Begin gentle breath and body scan practices with an emphasis on longer exhales.
Week 2: Emotional Patterns, Hormones, and Sleep
Explore where emotions are held in the body and how hormonal shifts lower stress tolerance and alter circadian stability. Learn why night waking increases cortisol sensitivity and how chronic stress limits recovery. Includes breath re-education, self-massage for jaw, neck, and belly, and gentle qigong.
Week 3: Repatterning Stress, Fatigue, and Capacity
Develop body awareness and self-regulation skills through movement, breath, and gentle somatic practices. Learn how to interrupt stress loops before they reach the point of keeping you up at night. Includes slow rhythmic movement, optional shaking, and micro-rests that work with fatigue rather than against it.

Week 4: Integration, Rest, and Continuity
Build a personal regulation ritual you can maintain in five to ten minutes a day. Explore how deep rest supports memory, immune function, and decision-making, and what tends to shift as sleep changes. Close with reflection, breath, and a plan for carrying the practices forward.

Who this is for
-
You wake between 2 am and 4 am and cannot get back to sleep
-
You feel exhausted but unable to settle
-
Your body feels wired even when you are tired
-
You're navigating perimenopause, hormonal change, or a season of high stress
-
You're living with chronic pain, racing thoughts, or a nervous system that never fully switches off
-
You've tried several approaches and none of them held
-
You want to understand what is happening in your body, not just follow a protocol
Who this is not for
-
Anyone looking for a quick fix or a two-week sleep hack
-
Anyone needing diagnosis or treatment for a sleep disorder such as sleep apnea, which requires a physician
-
Anyone seeking psychotherapy or trauma processing, which this program does not provide
-
Anyone in acute crisis who would be better served by one-on-one clinical support first
-
Anyone who wants to be told what to do rather than learn to read their own signals

This program is educational and supportive in nature. It does not provide psychotherapy or medical treatment. All practices are optional and can be modified or stopped at any time.

Sleep is not something we force; it's something we support.
If your nights have been long and you're ready to understand what your body has been asking for, the course begins in October 2026. Registration is a short questionnaire so Sara knows what you're working with before Week 1, to feel fully supported.
About the educator behind the work: Sara Salehi
Sara Salehi is a neuroscience-trained somatic practitioner, educator, and registered acupuncturist with over 13 years of teaching experience. Her work bridges neuroscience, Traditional Chinese Medicine, movement, and somatic education to help people understand how their nervous systems respond to stress, change, and daily life.
Sara’s approach is grounded in a simple philosophy. Education creates choice. Practical tools build capacity. Restoration allows the nervous system to integrate. Rather than pushing for change, her work supports clarity, regulation, and trust in the body’s natural intelligence.
